WWII Torpedo Bomber Crash Lands On Florida Beach

Witness video clips document the moment a WWII-era Torpedo Bomber "Avenger" made an emergency water landing along an occupied Florida beach on Apr. 18, 2021.

The aircraft was reportedly taking part in the Cocoa Beach Air Show, east of Orlando, when it experienced a technical failure and was forced to crash land. The pilot brought it down close enough to the beach that the aircraft could be recovered, but far enough away as to not hit any beach goers. No injuries were reported in the incident.
