A Ukrainian drone team narrowly escaped death as a Russian anti tank guided missile (ATGM) struck an armored recovery vehicle as it passed just in front of their position.
The drone operators were standing just inside a wood line as a friendly Bergepanzer 3 Buffalo armored recovery vehicle was hit just meters from them. The Buffalo is built off the Leopard chassis, so it has thick armor. It's not clear if the vehicle was taken out by the strike, but it managed to shield the drone team from significant injury or worse.
