Operational footage shows the planning and execution of a joint raid comprised of Kurdish Counter Terror Group (CTG) special forces and the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) units while being assisted by US Special Operations Forces troops.
The raids reportedly occurred in Kirkuk along boundaries held by Peshmerga forces and Iraqi military, hence the joint operation. The CTG operates primarily in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq, whereas the ICTS carries out security operations across greater Iraq. The ICTS is a special branch of Iraqi Special Forces (ISOF) that doesn't fall under the Iraqi Ministry of Defense or the Ministry of Interior, and essentially answers only to US SOF, which is why they don't look like ass.
