A TikTok video that is gaining traction in Ukraine today shows what appears to be a Russian MON-50 anti-personnel mine that is booby-trapped specifically to explode when it is disarmed.
It appears as if this video is gaining traction specifically as a warning to other Ukrainian troops and civilians who live near front-line positions. Generally speaking, both claymore and MON-50 anti-personnel mines are fairly easy to defuse. This is a feature, not a bug, as the weapons are defensive in nature and are meant to be repurposed as defensive positions are moved.
What's diabolical about this is that the mine appears to be rigged to explode should a user attempt to disarm the device in a normal fashion.
