Helmet cam combat footage from a Ukrainian infantry squad shows a ground assault turn into a break contact scenario after one of the team members is wounded by hostile fire on the Zaporizhzhia front.
The cameraman delivers a high rate of suppressing fire with a squad automatic weapon to keep the Russian forces pinned down so friendly units can drag their buddy to relative safety. The evacuation is slow going, and soon the light machine gun is depleted of ammunition. The cameraman then switches to a rifle to continue the suppression.
