Video recorded on a static camera that is believed to be located inside of the Azot factory shows Ukrainian defenders engaging Russian forces inside of Severodonetsk.
I can see the pro-Russian comments already. "Why were they recording themselves in a firefight with a static camera. That makes no sense. This video is fake." It's a fair point to bring up, but let me expound.
These guys have been in running gun battles with Russian forces for a long time now. There's a good chance that they knew they were defending a key avenue of approach from Russian forces, so they set this camera up as a means to record themselves in action. This is typical PFC stuff really.
I imagine the conversation went a bit like this. "Hey Uri, I'm gonna set up my camera over there in the corner. When we hear the Russians are coming I'll go hit record. It's gonna be bad ass." End of discussion.
