Ukrainian T-64BV Tank Fires On Russians In Donetsk

This clip, coming from archival footage of the fighting in Donetsk in March ‘24, shows the turret perspective of a Ukrainian T-64BV Main Battle Tank (MBT) as the crew fires its cannon at Russian positions.

The BV variant is the newest form of T-64 which boasts thicker armor, and more up-to-date comms and surveillance equipment than its older family members, which began development all the way back in the 1950s. The tank and its 3-man crew, hailing from the 59th Motorized Infantry Brigade, are shown working in Pervomaiske. An observation drone is overhead, ostensibly being used to track targets and walk rounds to where they need to go.
