Ukrainian Soldiers Low-Crawl Through The Open While Engaging Opposition

Some intense helmet-camera footage, unfortunately ruined by some horrible, dubbed music, shows a small fireteam of Ukrainian troops low crawling through an open field to disengage from what we can assume to be Russian forces.
In a perfect world, we would have the entire video of the moments leading up to the engagement, but we don't. So many questions that are going unanswered by this small segment. Was this a Ukrainian foot patrol coming under ambush fire? Were these troops ambushing Russians? I need to know how we ended up here, please.
Despite not knowing the context full circle, we can still appreciate what we have. Luckily for these two, their suppressive fire allowed them to reposition into hard cover before the situation got dicey. The only information provided at the time of this writing is this engagement occurred in the outskirts of the Donbass region. If you find a longer cut of this video, please link it below.
