Footage released by the Ukrainian Air Force shows a MiG-29 strike jet taking off from an undisclosed airfield and precision striking two bridges in Russia's Kursk region. Taking the bridges out of service will make it harder for the Russians to reinforce their embattled troops in the region, allowing Ukraine to prolong their foothold. Ukraine's surprise incursion into Kursk has caused Russia to pull combat troops from other parts of the Ukrainian front. Yet, Russia continues to take ground in Donbass. The Ukrainian-occupied Kursk territory will possibly be used as a bargaining chip should peace talks ever begin.
