Ukrainian "Grad" MLRS Team Sends It In Pokrovsky

This footage, provided by Ukraine's 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade, shows a team of Grad artillery crew members prepping, positioning, and firing their rockets at Russian positions downrange.

The BM-21 Grad is the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mascot of the Multiple-Launch Rocket System (MLRS) world, having been used by a multitude of nations since its first service date of 1963. A three-member crew can have the system aimed, up, and ready to fire in 3 minutes, and a full 40-rocket salvo can be loosed in just 20 seconds, pummeling targets at a range of around 12 to 20 miles, depending on ammo type.

While video from both sides of the Russo-Ukrainian war using -and losing- Grads is fairly commonplace, footage of the setup before salvo is comparatively scarce. We've seen the 47th do it before back in March 2024, but this time the footage looks decidedly more clean.
