Ukrainian Attack Helicopters In Action

A camera mounted under the wing of a Ukrainian Mi-24/35 attack helicopter shows low level flying and rocket launches toward Russian positions. One of the initial astonishments of this war is that Russian has been unable to achieve air superiority. Although both entities still fly aircraft, the prevalence of air defense systems has mitigated the effectiveness of manned combat air vehicles, forcing them to provide inaccurate fires from the safety of standoff ranges.
