A Ukrainian Buk-M1 air defense missile system was spotted by a Russian drone and then destroyed by a Lancet kamikaze munition, which resulted in a impressive secondary blast when the missiles combusted.
This war has demonstrated the ineffectiveness of the major air defense systems against a number of aerial threats. This Ukrainian Buk system has a drone just loitering overtop of it and then a second bomb drone flies in and destroys it. These systems are unable to detect or track these drones.
