Video of Ukrainian troops surveying the damage done to a Kindergarten in the the town of Vrubivka, in the Luhansk region of Ukraine is released as Separatist activity in the region turns to a new height.
An invasion from Russia has been looming over the heads of Ukrainians for the past month. Russia has been building up their troop strengths on the Russian and Belarusian border and posturing for quite some time. As negotiations between Russia and the rest of the world continue to deteriorate, Washington is reporting that they now have every indication that Russia intends to use a false flag attack to justify an immediate invasion of Ukraine. Meanwhile, in the Separatist regions of Ukraine where there has been an on-going conflict since 2014, Separatist activity has begun reaching new heights.
The video above was recorded by Ukrainian troops, and it shows them surveying the damage done to a Kindergarten by Separatist shelling. Fortunately, there were no children present at the time of the shelling, and nobody was injured in the attack. This increased Separatist activity however is troubling. “We have reason to believe they are engaged in a false flag operation to have an excuse to go in. Every indication we have is they’re prepared to go into Ukraine and attack Ukraine,” President Joe Biden told reporters as he departed the White House. Biden has since ordered his staff to rearrange his schedule so that he can speak at a United Nations Security Council meeting on Ukraine.
For their part, Russia is denying any plans to invade Ukraine. Over the past week, they've stated that they have moved 100,000 troops away from the border of Ukraine, and deny any intention whatsoever of moving into an open conflict with the neighboring nation. Washington however denies this, saying that not only are the Russians not removing troops, they're actually sending in more.
“We see them fly in more combat and support aircraft. We see them sharpen their readiness in the Black Sea,” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said at NATO headquarters in Brussels. “We even see them stocking up their blood supplies. I was a soldier myself not that long ago. I know firsthand that you don’t do these sorts of things for no reason,” said Austin, a retired Army general. “And you certainly don’t do them if you’re getting ready to pack up and go home.”
Currently, there are conflicting reports across Social Media, and the situation on the ground is ever-changing. We have our people on the ground in Ukraine giving us information as fast as they can, but information even inside of the country itself seems to be conflicted as well. One minute we're hearing that Russian tanks are moving to their lines of departure, the next we're hearing that nothing is happening at all. Three minutes later we'll hear that the Ukrainians are returning fire against Russian forces, then that's all put on pause because it turns out that they were just shelling Separatist positions.
We'll continue to update you on the situation as credible information becomes available to us. We'll do our best to keep from jumping the gun and reporting anything unconfirmed. If we do report on something unconfirmed that turns out to be false, we'll annotate the post as such, or completely remove the post entirely depending on how wrong the information turns out.
Hang in there folks, it could be an interesting weekend.
