Intense helmet cam footage from the Azov 3rd Assault Brigade shows the storming of Russian trench fighting positions concealed in a densely foliated forest in Kharkiv. Interestingly, the armored personnel carrier that delivers them to the objective doesn't immediately retreat, but becomes a rolling cover for the ground units. It's likely that they felt the use of enemy anti tank projectiles would be mitigated by the dense undergrowth, not allowing for standoff or arming distance. Shortly after dismounting, one of the Ukrainian troops is wounded. His injuries appear to be located on his legs, possibly from incoming small arms fire. The experienced troops then move bunker to bunker with the use of heavy suppression to get in close before throwing hand grenades into the enemy fighting positions. They clearly communicate with verbal commands and call outs for weapons malfunctions and reloads. They also show discipline in muzzle awareness to reduce friendly fire incidents in such a chaotic environment.
