UA Squad Conducts Immediate Action Drill After Ambush

A Ukrainian squad conducts an immediate action drill after making contact with an enemy element of unknown size in Zaporizhia. It appears similar to an Australian peel, with the second man in the column returning fire while the point man peels off away from the source of enemy contact and moves to the rear. Once the exposed elements of the squad have withdrawn to a position of advantage they can establish fire superiority and maneuver against enemy positions. While members of the squad can be seen near enemy positions, it is difficult to tell how the engagement developed or the outcome of the encounter.
