Turkish Troops Watch ATGM Barely Miss Them on FLIR

Members of the Turkish Military conducting combat operations in Syria have a near-death experience when an FSA anti-tank guided missile system just barely misses their vehicle.

You're going to have to trust me on this. I normally hate these types of videos. It's a couple of dudes sitting in an armored vehicle recording the FLIR screen with their cell phones. Generally speaking, these are the worst types of combat footage and you don't really see much of anything other than a camera phone shaking around a whole bunch for the duration. This video though, it hits a little bit different.

Here's why it hits different. Normally, ATGM strike videos are a dime a dozen. If you type ATGM, Fagot, Konkurs, or TOW into our search bar, you'll find literally hundreds of videos. An overwhelming majority of those videos are recorded from behind the ATGM system with the target being about a kilometer away from the firing point. This video is recorded from the target's perspective, and it's captured on FLIR. On top of that, it's a near miss, so we get to collectively hear everyone inside of the vehicle panic just as the missile misses tearing their vehicle in half.

This one's crazy, and it's worth the first 45 seconds leading up to the ATGM being launched directly at their faces.
