A time-synchronized video was made using various witness clips of the Trump assassination attempt. The well-made video does a great job of chronologically layering the perceived chaos of the event into a comprehendible, linear timeline, yet were are left with more questions after watching it.

The main question is: How could the USSS have dropped the ball this hard? The perimeter was poorly secured. The individual security units ignored mass reports of an obvious threat, allowing the shooter several minutes of unhindered operation. Multiple shots were fired before the threat was neutralized. Many of the security agents near Trump appeared untrained, incapable, and afraid for their own safety rather than the safety of their principal?

While conspiracy theories are already swirling, as many more will likely arise through the coming years, this incident appears to have been the result of a single issue: incompetence.
