An Epic montage video shows Ukrainians putting the high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS) and the M270 launcher to work against Russian forces.
The term HIMARS often gets thrown around interchangeably with the M270, which is a completely different vehicle system with tracks instead of wheels. What is usually and erroneously referred to as HIMARS is the munitions in which they are capable of firing, and those are the guided multi launch rocket (GMLRS) munitions, some of which have ranges well over 70km. In fact, France has even donated some of their LRU systems, which are essentially Europe's version of the M270, and they also fire the same GMLRS rockets.
