Heroism is hard to define. In fact, you only know true heroism when you've seen it first hand. This is your chance to witness it for yourself.
A U.S. Navy SEAL team and their Air Force Combat Controller touch down under heavy enemy fire in the mountains to retrieve a teammate who fell out of the back of their aircraft. Under intense enemy fire, MSGT John Chapman of the U.S. Air Force displayed great courage in the face of overwhelming odds and saved the lives of not only the SEAL Team who disembarked from the aircraft with him, but also the lives of the 18 members of a quick-reaction force that landed to assist them.
The entire event was captured on an overhead reconnaissance drone, and to this day is one of the only known recording of a Medal of Honor recipient during the action that earned them the Nation's highest Medal for valor in combat.
