A 3km long tunnel that was being used by Hamas to facilitate attacks against Israel was discovered, rigged with explosives, and collapsed. The tunnel had been previously destroyed 10 years ago by IDF during Operation Protective Edge, but has since been rebuilt, until it was destroyed today. Various video clips uploaded by Hamas show the use of subterranean tunnels and firing points as a primary means of operation, as the tunnels offer concealment from ISR assets.
