Taliban Seize Helmand Airfield, Acquiring Entire Motor-Pool of ANA Vehicles

Yet another video surfacing from the Taliban takeover happening now in Afghanistan, shows a short snippet of how rapidly the Taliban are expanding their presence. Reports have indicated this footage was recorded at the Bost Airfield, located in the central region of Helmand Province.

The footage shows Taliban fighters, cruising around the airfield in what looks to be an acquired Afghanistan National Army cargo truck, FILLED with body armor and weapons. One thing to note, not a single defending force can be seen. As the Taliban fighter pans across the motor-pools, not a soul in sight.

During the past twenty-years, the United States has spent over one-trillion dollars training the ANA, which at this point seems to have been a waste. There have been numerous statements released that indicate the ANA has been going without pay for months now and the Taliban is paying them off. Although this has not been 100% confirmed, it is still a logical thought to take into consideration.

Just remember, sieges like this are occurring everyday, all across Afghanistan.
