Taliban Dispersing Crowds From Kabul Airport Just So Americans Can Leave

Video reportedly shows Taliban militants dispersing crowds of Afghans from the main gate of the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul as American troops frantically attempt to evacuate their remaining personnel and assets.

It's not clear if the Taliban are actually helping with the Americans' evacuation procedure or if they are attempting to keep Afghan citizens from fleeing the country. A second clip at the end of the footage shows a Taliban fighter pop off a warning shot very near a man scaling the airport wall. It's uncertain if he was trying to keep the man inside the airport to further fuel the chaos inside.

Overnight, swarms of desperate Afghan citizens overwhelmed airport security as US troops attempted to evacuate US personnel and her allies. Throngs of Afghans littered the runways and aircraft, making it nearly impossible for military aircraft to take off and land. US troops used tear gas, warning shots, and Apache helicopter low passes to disperse crowds. Multiple people have reportedly been killed in stampedes, shootings in defense of military aircraft, and some have even fallen from airborne jets as they attempted to stowaway aboard the aircraft.
