Sultan Murad Recoilless Rifle Team Takes Out Syrian Position

Footage from early in the Syrian Civil War shows members of Sultan Murad firing a recoilless rifle system in order to dominate an entrenched Syrian Regime position.


The Sultan Murad Division was an armed rebel group of Syrian-Turkmen fighters that participated in the Syrian Civil War as part of the Free Syrian Army. The group, which sought to overthrow the Assad Regime, was heavily supported and backed with Turkish funding and military training. Also, when near Turkish territories, they would often even aerial support from Turkey.


This footage shows members of the Sultan Murad Division using a recoilless rifle system to destroy an entrenched group of Syrian Soldiers. It was filmed in Aleppo around 2016.
