Sudanese Army Begins Massive Offensive Near Madina Arab

Footage published to Facebook by members of the Sudanese Armed Forces shows the earliest stages of a new operation to retake Madina Arab in the Jazira State of Sudan. Previously, a majority of the state was in control of the Rapid Support Forces, but the Sudanese Military is hoping to regain control of the region with this operation.
It appears as if the Sudanese military hopes to take Madina Arab in order to gain a foothold in the region before they push to the larger city of Wad Madani where there is a larger RSF presence.
