Ukraine used at least one UK-delivered "Storm Shadow" cruise missile to strike a target deep into Russian-held territory in Donetsk. To ensure the success of the launch, Ukraine also fired US-deleivered decoy missiles to occupy and expose Russian air defenses. Because of these multiple launches, it is hard to determine of more than one actual Storm Shadow was used.
The Russians, of course, reported that a plastic factory and a meat factory had been hit, but pro Ukrainian accounts suggest at least one building being used as a Russian military garrison building was struck with an undetermined amount of casualties.
The Storm Shadow gives Ukraine the ability to carry out surgical strikes against Russian targets up to ~250km away, which will serve a critical role in inhibiting Russian resupply and command and control in the much-hyped counter offensive.
