The local government of Proletarsk in Russia has declared a state of emergency after a Ukrainian drone strike hit a fuel storage facility, sparking a massive fire that has now been raging for two days. According to Governor Vasily Golubev, 18 firefighters have been injured so far battling the fire with at least four of those injuries having been listed as severe. The video above captures the explosion that occurred immediately following the Ukrainian drone strike. Proletarsk is a city of 20,000 people. On Telegram, Golubev stated, "Given the difficulty of the fire in the Proletarsk district, a high alert regime has been turned into a state of emergency." The city has called up firefighting reserves, and has increased the number of medics on scene to help firefighters battle the increasingly dangerous fire.
