A short clip from a recent South Korean military (ROK) exercise shows a drone swarm unit launching dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles simultaneously. The ROK Army has reportedly integrated drones into their regular line units.

Drones have proven to be a steadfast component in the future of warfare. Drone swarms are developed to confuse and overwhelm enemy defenses and radars. Based on Russia's futility in combatting the drone threat, the technology to counter such swarms is still on the horizon.
