Sneaky Russians Stalked By Sneakier Drone

This footage, provided by the Ukrainian 82nd Brigade’s “Wild Division”, shows a Russian assault team creeping through the woods at night toward a Ukrainian position. However, unbeknownst to them, they are not the only danger lurking in the woods.

This whole incident plays out almost exactly like Buggs Bunny trolling Elmer Fudd- you know, the trope where the hunter looks back and whispers “shhh!” to the prey he’s supposed to be hunting? The drone is following the Russians almost that closely.

The Wild Division have taken another humorous train of thought with this footage, pairing it with the iconic theme from “Jaws” that leaves no doubt about their stance on “predator vs. prey”. Perhaps this nod to the classic horror/suspense film rings a little closer to the truth, even though they clearly intend it to be humorous. Whether you hear the hum coming in the woods or not, explosive drones represent a nightmare for your average infantryman on either side in Ukraine.
