SAA Armor Overwhelmed by RPG Fire After Mobility Kill

An armored vehicle from the Syrian Arab Army finds itself cut-off from nearby support after becoming a mobility kill. This is why armor needs constant infantry support.

Armored and tracked vehicles are pretty great for the crew. They can drive anywhere, and the crew is nice and cozy inside of the vehicle behind armor specifically designed to stop small arms fire. Unfortunately for those same crews, they're the meaty part inside of the crab that the enemy wants to get to. When the vehicle is not in motion, and the infantry is nowhere nearby to pull you out of the fire, you're an incredibly large and juicy target for every rocketeer in the nearby area.

What you're seeing here was fairly commonplace early on in the Syrian Civil War. Armored vehicles would often over-extend themselves in the urban terrain of Syria, and as a result they would also often find themselves travelling through hostile territory without any infantry support whatsoever. Without that support to protect them, there's nothing stopping them from becoming an easy target once their tracks get blown out.
