The 9K111 Fagot is a Soviet anti-tank guided missile system developed in the late 1960s. It was designed to provide infantry units with a portable and effective anti-tank weapon. The missile has a range of up to 2.5 kilometers and is wire-guided, meaning the operator must guide the missile manually to its target. It became widely used by Soviet and Warsaw Pact forces during the Cold War and has since been exported to various countries and is most readily found on the black markets which caused it to see extensive use during the Syrian Civil War.
