Russians Conduct Trench Assault Training in Ukraine

Video released by Russian sources shows a squad-sized unit of Russian troops conducting what is commonly called reset training in Russian controlled territory inside of Ukraine. Reset training is conducted for troops in the field who return to the rear for a respite from combat operations. This training updates skills based on common tactics the entire force is facing on the front, and allows the Soldiers time to continue honing their abilities. This is commonly done by almost every professional military in the world.

The reason we are posting this video is because it is currently spreading on several pro-Russian twitter accounts as actual combat footage. That is not the case. This video is simply training footage that was released by the Russian Ministry of Defense, not an assault on Ukrainian positions. This is evident in the fact that it was published as training by the Russian government, and is obvious through the select camera angles where the Russian camera guy is either above the trench, or in front of the assaulting Soldiers.
