Confusing footage coming out of Luhansk shows a separatist piece of armor striking an anti-tank mine. Russian media somehow captures this one mine hit from four different angles.
So, not to call myself a subject matter expert, but I have a little bit of experience in hitting improvised explosive devices and anti-tank mines. The last thing, and I mean the absolute last thing on our minds at the time was getting it on video and shooting interviews after the fact. Now, I know we have loads of IED hits on coalition forces here on Funker530, but very rarely will you ever see one of those hits happening on more than one angle, and that's because no one is ever expecting to get blown up. That's not really how it works. You don't normally get a perfectly framed mine or IED hit.
Also, the last thing you're going to catch me doing after the fact is giving an even halfway coherent interview directly after being blown up. I've been blown up a time or two, and speaking for TV was the last thing I was capable of doing immediately after the fact considering every sentence in my vocabulary immediately after being detonated was prefaced with a four letter curse word.
So, I'm not saying this is Russian propaganda. I'm just saying that it's kind of sus that the Russians caught this mine hit from four different angles and then immediately conducted an interview with the tank commander after where the guy sounds perfectly coherent. Regardless of the sussyness of that however, this is still pretty incredible footage, and they just happened to catch all of that incredible footage on three different action cameras and a large normal camera with a macro view of the situation and it just all happened to be perfectly framed so that they would have room for their gigantic media watermarks in post production.
