Russians Assault "Ukrainian Positions" in Kursk

Cell phone footage circulating across multiple social media platforms right now shows what is allegedly a Russian infantry platoon conducting an attack on Ukrainian positions in Kursk. According to the reports, the platoon-sized element overwhelmed several Ukrainian defensive positions in this video, but the footage itself doesn't seem right to me. First and foremost, there's zero return fire in this video at all. Almost 100% of the gunfire heard in this video is out going away from the platoon. The sound is either lateral to the camera, or coming from directly behind the guy recording. Second, I don't think anyone in their right mind, including the Russian military, would offload a platoon of dudes 300 meters away from an enemy defensive position where there are likely machine gun presents. At least, not unless it was training and you were trying to get your guys a little extra PT. The only cover between the guys on the ground and the alleged enemy defensive positions are the trees obscuring open sight lines into where the "Ukrainian positions" are located in this video. Following that, these guys were dropped off by what is likely some kind of troop transport armed with crew-served weapons. IF this were in fact an assault on an active defensive position, we should hear those crew served weapons providing suppressing fire as the dismounts start their attack. The sound of friendly crew served weapons is entirely absent in this video. All of the above leads me to believe that this is likely the Russian military conducting a mock attack for training purposes. The footage was likely scraped from a Russian social media account and is now being spread by bad-faith actors to get imaginary social media points on places like Telegram, Reddit, and Twitter.
