Drone test footage released by Russian sources shows a drone armed with a shotgun and rudimentary crosshair system being utilized to bring down another drone. Theoretically, this would allow roving packs of shotgun drones to fly around the battlespace attempting to bring down Ukrainian drones.
More realistically, this is a video thrown together by some Russian engineers who had a little too much vodka. The speed and agility of drones makes "dog-fighting" with anything less than automatic weapons a little bit unrealistic. This could however be useful at bringing down reconnaissance drones that are moving slowly and staying in place, if the Russians had a reliable system for spotting those drones.
