A Russian training center in southern Ukraine was discovered by Ukrainian intelligence assets and the coordinates were relayed to a HIMARS guided multiple launch rocket system (GMLRS) team within range.
It appears the first strike targeted exposed Russian troops on a rifle range, inflicting several casualties. A second strike targets the nearby dwellings, likely occupied by dozens of Russian troops. The GMLRS munitions were set to "air burst" causing them to detonate just over the target, which results in tens of thousands of extremely dense tungsten fragments that would have no problems fully penetrating any of the structures shown.
