Russian Tanks Continue to Devolve in Ukraine

Close up cell phone footage of the now world-famous Shed Tank has just been released by Russian sources. Across multiple fronts in Ukraine we have seen this style of tank leading charges and armored assaults against Ukrainian defenses, and for the most part they don't appear to be absolutely failing in every single way.

While the de-evolution does bring the T-80s back to the WW1 era of tanks, it hasn't proven itself to be entirely useless in Ukraine so far. If I were a tanker, I would be able to tell you about all of the drawbacks this presents to the crew, but I'm not so I won't sit here and pretend that I can.

What I can tell you is if that something is stupid and it works, it's probably not stupid, and that appears to be the path that the Russians are going down with this. It may not have a 100% efficacy rate, but they keep sending these things into battle, so I assume that they're having some level of success with it.

Still, every time I see one of these things roaming around, I am reminded of that "return to monke" evolution meme.
