This footage, recorded by a Ukrainian observation drone, shows a Russian T-72B tank traveling down a trail littered with disabled vehicles. As it tries to pass a pair of destroyed MT-LBs, the tank strikes a mine and becomes disabled itself.
This incident is reported to have occurred north of Volodymyrivka, in Donetsk. First the tank passes around a lone disabled vehicle, forced to go to its right thanks to the woodline hemming in the left. Then, the tank driver encounters a pair of disabled MT-LBs, and is again forced to the right by the woodline. In the business, we have a word for a lot of dead vehicles in a small space, with limited options for progression. They’re called clues. However, our T-72B misses the hint and is rewarded by hitting an AT mine at 0:34. It is unknown whether any of the crew were killed outright in the explosion, but the remainder are shown fleeing from the tank. The T-72 is left where it sits, another roadblock and warning.
