Russian Soldier’s Impressive Shooting Saves Squad From Drone

This quick clip shows a Russian squad riding exposed atop a transport vehicle. This has been repeatedly proven to be a bad idea, and a Ukrainian FPV drone soon arrives to illustrate why. However, one of the Russians proves to be a crack shot, downing the drone with one shot and tagging it with two more as it falls. His quick, accurate fire more than likely saves all of their lives.

At approximately 0:19, a Russian can be heard remarking that the drone jammer the vehicle is presumably equipped with isn’t working, which explains why they suddenly have company. When electronic warfare fails, the Russians opt for a good old-fashioned kinetic intercept. Considering he’s not using a shotgun, and is firing at a moving target from a moving target, it’s a pretty impressive hit- and that’s before we consider the follow-up shots as the drone descends. However you might feel about the politics of the situation, game should recognize game, and this was some solid shooting.
