Footage reportedly shows a foot patrol of Russian soldiers sustain casualties after one of them steps on an anti personnel mine or some sort of unstable unexploded ordnance.
Although the wounded soldier is in need of immediate medical care, his buddies slowly move to his position to ensure they do not detonate more devices and become casualties themselves. The mine itself was relatively small in payload. The idea behind the device design is to maim but not kill the soldier, which forces the unit to task additional soldiers with treating and transporting the casualties, making the platoon less combat effective.
