Ukraine released a captured video reportedly showing a Russian FSB special operations sniper unit conducting assassination operations within Ukraine.
A great analysis by Russian military expert Rob Lee's Twitter page goes in depth, detailing each piece of equipment depicted in the video. A partial list of the gear includes: UK-made Accuracy International sniper rifles with suppressors, a Chinese-made DJI Mavic drone, Swiss-made Safran Vectronix JIM LR multifunction infrared binoculars, American-made Kestrel 5700 Ballistics computer, and several other components.
The ghillie suit appears to be the same version spotted in use by FSB Special Purpose Center officers in previous videos, and the Armokom LShZ 1+ helmet is very common across Russian SOF units. 10/ pic.twitter.com/YEmHmA8pu9
