A Ukrainian FPV bomb drone team released a video showing how operations are conducted against Russian targets on an undisclosed frontline location.
The team moves on foot, using cover when available, to within strike range of suspected Russian targets. From there they begin prepping their equipment. They use a quadcopter drone to locate enemy targets and gather valuable intel for friendly units.
Two or more Russians can be seen in a trench network. They spot the drone and attempt to shoot it down. Suddenly, the bomb drone rapidly dives in to their position and detonates. The effectiveness of the strike cannot be determined from the footage as the video immediately ends.
The FPV bomb drone technique essentially replaces sniping operations to achieve similar outcomes with less threat to the unit using it.
