The successful assassination of a Russian Black Sea Fleet officer was recorded by a CCTV street security camera in Sevastopol, Crimea. The officer was identified as Captain Valery Trankovsky, Chief of Staff for the Black Sea Fleet's 41st Brigade of Missile Ships and Boats. Based on the gnarly aftermath footage, it appears the bomb was placed directly under the driver. It's not clear who is responsible for the attack. Crimea still holds sleeper cells or Ukrainian partisans, but car bombs are also a Russian signature wet work operation, up there with throwing people out windows of multi story buildings.
