This drone footage, provided by the Ukrainian military, shows the lead vehicle of a Russian armored assault, which has been equipped with an anti-mine roller. Pushing ahead of the column, we see the mine mitigation fail catastrophically at its job. The leader pushes boldly and at speed, confidently leading the column right into a Ukrainian minefield. It promptly gets obliterated by a mine. There's possibly some kind of metaphor for the Russian military as a whole out there, scattered across the field. The roller may have worked perfectly, but been counteracted by stacked or magnetic mines, or the inexperienced crew may have just driven too quickly for it to have worked. In any case, that's got to be an eye-opener for the following tanks/APCs.
