Russian Ka-52 Pilot Ejects After Taking Direct Hit From MANPAD

Drone video from early October shows a Russian Ka-52 pilot ejecting after his airframe is struck by an unknown MANPAD. Other aircraft then circle the area to rescue the downed pilot.

This is a second angle of a post we made earlier this month. The shoot down occurred in the Zaporizhzhia region. In this new angle, we can see the pilot ejecting from the Ka-52 briefly before the helicopter impacts with the Earth. Then we can see another aircraft landing in the field where the pilot did. It's unclear if the pilot survived the ejection or if he was recovered by the other aircraft.
