This footage, provided by Ukrainian drones, shows a piece of Russian artillery being destroyed. As it explodes, it sets a significant portion of the forest alight.
This strike reportedly happened on 07 April, 2024, south of Pokrovske, in Mykolaiv. The Grad-P is a single tube, reloadable, man-portable variant of the ubiquitous truck-mounted MRLS that fires 122-millimeter rounds. It was developed in Russia the 1960s for special, highly mobile Soviet and allied forces (Vietnam). It was not officially adopted by the Russian army but still sees use by both Russian and Ukrainian forces.
