This footage, provided by a Russian soldier via helmetcam, shows himself and a partner as they ride on a Chinese-donated Desertcross ATV. They find themselves being pursued by a Ukrainian FPV drone and endeavor to shoot it down with a shotgun and assault rifle.

I'll admit it- this looks like it would be fun as hell if life and death weren't on the line. However, I'd definitely recommend a more reliable weapon. Russian infantry have begun to field shotguns (when they can get them) specifically to defend against drones, but the Saiga shown here continues to uphold their reputation for jamming. Despite being brought specifically to deal with this very threat, the shotgun is out of commission for almost the whole incident as the soldier tries to clear the malfunction.

The drone is clearly visible at 0:32 as it careens in and smacks into a tree. It's unclear whether this is because it was damaged by gunfire, or simply pilot error. Quite honestly, in either case, I don't know whether I'd be terrified or infuriated if I were the shotgunner.
