Emile Ghessen, a former Royal Marine Commando, recently finished his documentary on the Nagorno-Karabakh war of 2020 which took place between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
You may be vaguely familiar with the conflict that occurred last year. The Nagorno-Karabakh War, also known as the 2020 conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan took place right in the middle of a global pandemic. On top of being in the middle of a pandemic, it also took place during an election season, and in a world that was essentially inundated with fresh bad-news stimulation on an hour-to-hour basis. As a result of the timing of the conflict, most of the world never really understood what happened, or what was even going on.
Emile Ghessen, a former Royal Marine Commando, Funker530 Guest Contributor, and independent war correspondent was on the ground for the entire conflict. If you've been following 530 for any period of time, then you are likely familiar with some of his past work, as we have shared, and even published some of his work in the past. We are big fans of the Royal Marine's work, and can't wait to see this documentary in full.
