Robo-Dog Used For Recon By Ukrainian SOF

Details on this video are rather scant, but it purportedly shows "Whiskey Squad", a Ukrainian SOF element, using a quadrupedal drone for recon purposes. Whiskey squad has been reportedly operating near New York, Ukraine over the last month, in which case this footage would be likely to have been recorded in that area. It is unknown what benefit the "robo-dog" has over more conventional wheeled or rotor-based drones, given that a walking drone has to stand taller and cannot move as fast. Considering the abundance of drones featured in video from Ukraine, and the scarcity of walker-type drones, this is probably some kind of shake-down or test of a concept rather than a routine usage.
