This compilation of footage from several anti-Junta militias shows a Myanmar military base being drone-bombed with 120-millimeter artillery shells. What makes this incident stand out from similar attacks is that the rounds used were seized from another, previously captured, Junta artillery base.
It is also worth mentioning the scale of the drone. While drones are pervasively used by anti-Junta forces to offset their comparative lack of artillery and air support options, these are usually fairly small- big enough to drop grenades, or perhaps mortar rounds. 120-millimeter shells represent an exponential increase in both the firepower and the size of the delivery system. As pictured, the drone practically dwarfs its operator.
Logistically speaking, practically the only way anti-Junta forces can acquire these heavy shells is by capturing them. Therefore, to the military forces in the base being bombed, the sound and feeling of the attacks must fall somewhere between irony and karma as their own firepower comes back to haunt them.
