The Ichkeria OBON is an all Chechen volunteer unit with the Ukrainian International Legion. Obon is an acronym for отдельный батальон особого назначения, which when literally translated means separate special purpose battalion. The word Ichkeria stems from the government-in-exile of Chechnya.
